Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 3.2km-long Ballabhgarh-Mujesar Metro rail link (an extension of the Violet Line) on Monday.
This will enhance connectivity between real estate destinations like Faridabad, Neharpar, Noida, Greater Noida, and Gurgaon and increase the pace of real estate development in and around these areas.
This will greatly benefit commuters to Ballabhgarh, as this is a prominent business hub housing several industries and educational institutions. It will also boost employment opportunities.
MNCs like IBM and Cognizant have their offices nearby.
Ballabhgarh set for a major makeover!
Healthcare centres, primary schools, and retail shops are aplenty in the surrounding areas. For improving civic facilities in the area, the Haryana government announced a grant of Rs 10 crore for the restoration of tube wells in the area and reconstruction of the dilapidated bypass of Faridabad.
The fourth city in Haryana to get a Metro link, Ballabhgarh was renamed as Balramgarh in April 2017.
Manohar Lal Khattar, the chief minister of Haryana, had announced many developmental projects for the region and declared it as a developmental zone.
Nestled on the NH-2 and around 30km from Delhi, Ballabhgarh is more of a commercial hub. Residential development is not yet as prominent as in the neighbouring areas of Sectors 56 and 76-88 in Faridabad.
These localities are bustling residential colonies with innumerable options in affordable homes faridabad. There are many such forthcoming residential properties in the vicinity launched by local developers.

The locality is home to reputed educational institutes like Cement Research Institute of India, Comprehensive Rural Health Services Project (rural field practice area of AIIMS), while YMCA University of Science and Technology is less than 5km from the area.
YMCA Chowk-Ballabhgarh Metro project is one of the two line-extension projects worth Rs 1,090 crore approved by the Public Investment Board (PIB) of the ministry of finance. The other is an underground corridor from Najafgarh to Dhansa Border. The Metro trains on the Badarpur-Faridabad tracks run on solar power which is a prominent feature of the project.

This is the first university of its kind in the country and will help the youth acquire new skills and enhance their employability. All these projects will increase the scope for realty development of the entire region.”
